A busy iGB Live 2018 exhibition floor with branded iGaming booths and attendees networking at stands.

In the summer of 2018 the beautiful city of Amsterdam played host to iGB Live! one of the biggest events on the iGaming calendar and one that we were delighted to attend. The Language Bear team was there in force, meeting with clients, discussing new projects, and keeping up to date with the latest industry news. We had a great time, we signed a number of new deals and we got to meet some familiar faces—it was a great show all round!

The event

iGB Live! Amsterdam was hailed as the ultimate networking opportunity, and that’s exactly what it was. These exhibitions are designed as a way for experts to voice their opinions and for companies to showcase their services, but they also provide affiliates, operators, developers and agencies like us with a chance to network.

There are thousands of people attending these events, and all of these are involved with the iGaming sector in some way. It’s an invaluable opportunity and one that we jumped at. iGB Live! 2018 was attended by some of the industry’s biggest names, including BetSoft, 888, BetWay and GiG, all of which previewed their services and products for the year ahead.

Importance of iGB Live! 2018

Events like this are especially important in the current climate. There are a lot of changes occurring in the European iGaming sector right now, with new regulated markets and opportunities being created seemingly with every passing month. On top of this there are many regulatory and rule changes taking place in established markets like the UK and a wealth of services and technologies being introduced.

iGB Live! gives attendees the opportunity to learn about these changes and to stay up to date, and that’s one of the main reasons we attended. We pride ourselves on being more informed and more experienced than anyone else, and one of the ways we achieve this is by making regular appearances at annual events like iGB Live!
