The London Affiliate Conference concluded on February 8th and we were there for every day, catching each showcase and release. We used this opportunity to chat with prospective clients and to stay informed about the latest releases and trends, making sure we don’t miss a thing.

All this information gets passed back to our hard-working employees, who use it to stay in touch with this rapidly evolving industry, allowing them to create content that is always accurate, up-to-date, and just what our clients demand.

The stars of the show

The London Affiliate Conference is held at the ExCeL, and attracts thousands of attendees, including some of the biggest developers, marketers, creators, and affiliates. Here is just a selection of the many exciting events that we encountered at this year’s conference.

Schmeichel saves the day

iGaming events like the London Affiliate Conference are known to be a hotspot for sports stars, especially footballers. They are hired to add some spice to showcases, attracting countless delegates as they go searching for autographs and selfies.

In 2020, it was the turn of Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel, said to be one of the greatest goalkeepers to ever play the game. Schmeichel rocked-up to the STS booth, a brand for which he acts as an ambassador.

According to the Danish shot-stopper, he has filmed some commercials with the brand and we should be seeing a lot more of him in months to come.

Bringing iGaming to Brazil

The South American market is one of the fastest-growing gambling markets in the world right now, with endless untapped potential. This region was the talk of the event, as countless affiliates and brands focused their attentions on these evolving digital markets.

For LeoVegas, it was all about Brazil. A spokesperson for the brand admitted that Brazil isn’t very strong right now where gambling is concerned, but added that they were planning to change that in the coming months, bringing more quality and quantity to the region and hoping to initiate a South American iGaming boom.

New alliance formed

London Affiliate Conference witnessed the early stages of a brand-new alliance, as Safe Affiliate Programs had its long-awaited launch party.

This affiliate platform brings many top programs together, including Intertops Affiliates, Juicy Stakes Affiliates, Slots Vendor, Legend Affiliates, Golden Euro Affiliates, and more. It’s a highly competitive industry, but the creation of this platform, and the camaraderie with which it was celebrated, suggests that it’s not as cut-throat as you might think.

Super Soft2Bet showcase

Located at Stand N22, sports betting and casino group Soft2Bet attracted the attention of thousands of attendees as it showcased a new product range alongside affiliate partners 7StarPartners.

The 7StarPartners’ affiliate program spans 15 top sites, including the Rabona sportsbook, while Soft2Bet is having one of its best years yet, making this the perfect time for a full product showcase.

If we didn’t see you there, don’t worry, as we’ll be at the next one, and the next one; we’ll be there for every major event, regardless of the city.
