ISO 17100:2015 certification is related to our translation process, and focuses on recruitment, and how we assess the translation, linguistic, technical, information gathering, and industry experience of the native translators and editors we recruit.

It also extends to our ordering process for translations, client communication, how we handle and archive correspondences, and the entire lifecycle of the translation ordering process, covering everything from planning and distribution steps through to proofreading, reviewing, quality assurance, and dealing with revisions and corrections when necessary.

Information security is at the heart of everything we do at Language Bear, and this is backed by our ISO 27001:2022 certification. It spans the entire order information lifecycle, as conducted through our proprietary platform, and applies to all client data.

Specifically, it certifies the security of processes related to data handling, archiving, and deletion, as well as the layers of protection that we employ (including multi-factor authentication, permission roles, and the signing of NDAs). It also covers hardware, software, and procedures used by our employees to scrutinize every process to the finest detail, the security surrounding our European office, our networking and AWS server infrastructure, and our employee onboarding and offboarding process.

ISO 9001:2015 certifies the quality of our recruitment and ordering processes, both of which are integral to our operations. It relates to the services that we provide, as well as the industry experience and cultural capacity of our native writers, editors, and translators.

This certification also verifies how we ensure that every piece is edited and undergoes quality assurance tests, as well as revisions and corrections if required by our clients. ISO 9001:2015 certification supports our security endeavors and our ability to mitigate and act on potential threats.
