ICE London 2022
ICE London 2022 ran from April 12 to April 14, 2022. It was the first time that this prestigious event had been staged since 2020 (another victim of the thing that shall not be named) and Language Bear was in attendance.
We were delighted to be given a chance to return to this event and witnessed some great exhibitions and lectures, including the following highlights.
Coffee and gaming
For the Language Bear team, one of the highlights of this event was meeting the White Hat Gaming team, an iGaming powerhouse responsible for many of 2022’s most exciting projects.
The White Hat Gaming stand included a coffee shop and a team of friendly and forthcoming employees keen to talk about their latest projects.
After waiting through COVID lockdowns and enduring multiple delays, it was great to get out and about with the iGaming community and we loved spending some time with the White Hat team.
Cryptocurrencies and the future
Cryptocurrencies are always a hot topic at these gaming events and ICE London 2022 was no exception. For many, cryptos are the future of online casino gaming, and everyone is seeking their share of the spoils.
NetGaming is one of the companies getting in line. Founded in 2019, this company showcased its membership to the Mutant Ape Yacht Club, an exclusive club based around a sought-after NFT.
It expressed its desire to create slots and other gaming software based on NFTs, which is something that many other companies are also looking into.
Exciting stuff from Galaxy Gaming
Galaxy Gaming is the world’s largest independent developer of table gaming content and it hosted an enticing exhibit at ICE London. It was the first time that consumers got to see the Triton Casino System in action. This omnichannel platform blends many popular features, including progressive jackpots built into a tiered system.
These jackpots are further bolstered by the addition of a new user-friendly interface, creating a complete gaming experience that provides more opportunities for both the players and the casinos.
A big showcase from Pragmatic Play
Prior to ICE London 2022, Pragmatic Play boasted the “biggest stand” while claiming that it would be the largest showcase in the brand’s history.
In addition to Pragmatic Play’s rapidly-growing Live Casino platform and its many real money slot machines, the developer devoted a lot of space to its new sports betting platform.

Barring another global catastrophe, ICE London will be hosted again in February 2023. The 2022 event bore witness to over 450 exhibitors and 160 speakers from more than 55 countries around the world. We were there for the duration, and we still didn’t see all there was to see.
