One of the biggest events of the year, ICE London, has finished for another year and that’s a shame, because we had a blast! We were in attendance throughout this amazing event; we talked, negotiated, made friends, signed contracts, and kept our finger on the pulse of the iGaming sector.

A lot happened during this year’s event, and we had a front-row seat for all of it.

Exciting showcases at ICE London 2020

ICE London is where the cream of the iGaming crop showcases its wares; it’s where the best developers, affiliates, casinos, and marketers come together, show each other what they have to offer, and prepare the community for the year ahead.

Here is a small selection of the events and news from ICE 2020.

The rapid evolution of live casino gambling

All eyes were on Stand N2-230 during ICE London as Evolution Gaming, arguably the biggest innovator in the live casino industry, showcased a dozen new games.

Evolution Gaming owns a sizeable share of the live casino industry, with titles in all the biggest casinos and spanning the most sought-after card, wheel, and dice games. One of the reasons Evolution Gaming has maintained such a tight grip on the live casino sector is its devotion to constantly improving, updating, and growing its range.

There were 12 new titles on show during ICE London, including Crazy Time, which adopts a game-show aesthetic, similar to the developer’s most famous games, and Craps, which becomes the first-ever live casino version of this casino classic.

Amatic at their best

Austria-based Amatic has been keen to combine elements of offline and online gambling and this was evident during the developer’s recent showing.

Emphasizing the need for “Pure Gaming”, Amatic showcased the Lucky Link product, which connects multiple devices and jackpots, offering endless opportunities and winning potential.

Konami kings

Konami Gaming made an appearance during ICE London and used the time to showcase some amazing progressive jackpot slot machines, ones that were played by over 35,000 attendees.

These games included Dragon’s Law SeleXion and Treasure Ball, and spanned several progressive jackpots, all of which are linked together.

The fastest slot in the world

ICE London has always managed to draw big names. In the past, sports stars like Michael Owen and Tyson Fury have made an appearance. But ICE London 2020 saw the biggest of them all, as world record holder and all-round-superhuman Usain Bolt made an appearance.

There was a palpable buzz throughout the event as everyone waited for the superstar to show, and when he did, all eyes were on him and the many great exhibits were momentarily forgotten about.

Bolt teamed up with Ganapati, which used his image to great a new slot game. If the ICE London buzz is anything to go by, this slot is going to get a lot of attention when it’s released and could be one of the biggest hits of the year.
